A full day on the water, stopping wherever the day calls for it.
We head out early in a rigid inflatable with a skipper, and the lake is yours for the day. We stop wherever it's worth it: sandy coves you can only reach by water, a waterfall dropping straight onto the shore, quiet bays to swim in.
The route depends on the day and on the group. It can be Lácar, Lago Hermoso or Falkner, each with its own character: more open, more hemmed in by mountains, more remote.
At midday we pull into the shore and set out a picnic. Anyone who wants to can walk a short trail up to a lookout, anyone who'd rather stays fishing from the bank or the boat. You're back at the house in the afternoon, with the sun still up.
